This 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle 300 two-door sedan is finished in dark purple over black vinyl and was repainted as part of a reported body-off refurbishment completed in 2014. The car is powered by a replacement Chevrolet 350ci V8 mated to a rebuilt four-speed automatic transmission. Additional equipment includes staggered diameter five-spoke wheels, front disc brakes, power steering, quad headlights, Vintage Air air conditioning, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, and an Alpine stereo. This Chevelle was acquired by the seller in July 2020 and is now offered with refurbishment records and transferrable New York registration in the seller’s name.
The body was repainted in its current shade of Plum Mist as part of a refurbishment said to have been completed in 2014. Additional features include quad headlights, side mirrors, chrome bumpers, and exhaust outlets behind each rear wheel. Evidence of corrosion is present on the rear window cowl and can be referenced in the gallery.
The staggered diameter Air Boss five-spoke wheels wear Nexen tires measuring 245/45/17 up front and 245/45/18 out back. The car is equipped with steering, and braking is handled by unassisted front discs along with rear drums.
The front and rear bench seats are upholstered in black vinyl and joined by a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Additional equipment includes Vintage Air air conditioning, vent windows, lap belts for two front occupants, and an Alpine stereo wired to aftermarket speakers. The seller notes that the seats were initially blue and dyed their current shade under prior ownership. There is wear on the front seat.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel fronts a 120-mph speedometer and a fuel level gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 11k miles, approximately 700 of which have been added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The replacement 350ci V8 was installed as part of the refurbishment completed under prior ownership and is equipped with an Edelbrock intake manifold, carburetor, and air cleaner cover. The oil was changed in July 2022.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 200-4R four-speed automatic transmission rebuilt in 2014.
