This 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle is powered by a Viper-sourced 8.3-liter V10 that is fitted with a Paxton supercharger and paired with a six-speed manual transmission. Finished in purple over black upholstery, the car rides on a modified Schwartz Performance chassis and Ridetech air suspension components. Additional equipment includes power rack-and-pinion steering, Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes, multi-piece Forgeline wheels, power windows, TMI seats, air conditioning, and a retro-look digital stereo. This modified Chevelle was acquired by the seller in November 2022 and is now offered with a clean Missouri title in the seller’s name.
The body was refinished in purple during current ownership and features asymmetric hood and trunk stripes, a Super Sport-style hood, flush-fitting Oldsmobile Intrigue door handles, shaved badges, lowered rocker panels, a smoothed firewall, a raised driveshaft tunnel, and body-color bumpers as well as LED headlights and driving lamps, dual side mirrors, side-exit exhaust outlets, billet door strikers, and decorative billet hood and trunk hinges.
Staggered-width Forgeline multi-piece wheels measuring 18″ up front and 19″ at the rear are powder-coated in charcoal with gloss black lips and are mounted with Ohtsu FP700 and Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires, respectively. Steering is provided by a power-assisted rack-and-pinion, while the suspension features four-link trailing arms at the rear with Ridetech air springs all around. Braking is provided by power-assisted Wilwood disc brakes with ventilated cross-drilled rotors.
The interior features TMI Pro-Series low-back bucket seats upholstered in black vinyl with microsuede inserts, stainless-steel grommets, and contrasting stitching as well as a matching rear bench seat and door/side panels. Amenities include power windows, VintageAir air conditioning, a center console, a billet pedal set, and a Custom Autosound USA-230 digital stereo linked to kick-panel speaker enclosures.
The flat-bottom Billet Specialties steering wheel fronts a carbon-look Dakota Digital VHX instrument panel housing a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, ancillary gauges, and a digital display. AEM boost pressure and air/fuel gauges are mounted in the center stack along with a Ridetech digital ride-height controller. The digital odometer shows 3k miles, which is said to represent the mileage driven since the completion of the refurbishment. Total mileage is unknown.
The 8.3-liter V10 sourced from a third-generation Dodge Viper is equipped with a Paxton NOVI 2000 supercharger with a water-to-air intercooler, polished valve covers, a fabricated intake, a Wizard Cooling radiator with dual electric fans, and a dual exhaust system with straight-through mufflers and side exits ahead of the rear wheels.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec TR-6060 six-speed manual transmission. The car rides on a modified Schwartz Performance chassis, and additional underside photos can be seen in the gallery.
