This 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS was built at the Van Nuys, California plant on January 19, 1967, and sold new by Arrow Chevrolet in Los Angeles, California. It is finished in Butternut Yellow with a black front accent stripe over black vinyl and is powered by a numbers-matching 350ci V8 paired with a two-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes the Rally Sport equipment package, a black vinyl top, a dual exhaust system, bucket seats, air conditioning, a center console, a rear speaker, a rear antenna, speed warning option, and a push-button AM radio. The car is said to have remained with the original owner until 2002 and was later acquired by the seller and relocated to British Columbia, Canada in 2015. This Camaro RS/SS is offered in Canada with partial service records, original purchase documents, a Protect-O-Plate, NCRS documentation, and British Columbia registration.
The car is finished in Butternut Yellow with black front accent stripes and a black vinyl roof. Exterior features include hideaway headlamps, chrome bumpers, SS badging, pinstripe, and dual exhaust outlets. The seller notes that the vehicle was involved in a front-end accident and repaired under previous ownership, and rust holes are visible in each lower front fender.
Steel 14″ wheels with FC stamp wear N96 mag-style full covers and are mounted with mismatched tires. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel drum brakes.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in black vinyl with a matching dashboard, console, door panels, and carpeting. Additional interior appointments include deluxe lap belts, manual windows, black rubber floor mats, and a push-button AM radio. The aftermarket air conditioning system is said to have been added in 1969. The horn is weak, and the windshield washer pump works intermittently.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer and a fuel level gauge. Auxiliary gauges are installed on the column and below the dash. The five-digit odometer shows 64k miles, approximately 5k of which have been added by the seller.
The numbers-matching 350ci V8 is equipped with chrome Chevrolet-branded valve covers and was rated at 295 horsepower when new. An oil change was performed in preparation for sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a two-speed automatic transmission. Additional images showing the condition of the underside are included in the gallery.
