This 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS convertible is powered by a replacement 327ci L30 V8 mated to a five-speed manual transmission, and it was finished in blue in 2017. Equipment includes a power-operated black convertible soft top, concealed headlights, an SS-style hood with raised simulated air intakes, power-assisted front disc and rear drum brakes, 14″ styled wheels, an aftermarket stereo system, and a heater. The car resided in California before relocating to Washington state in 2015. This Camaro RS convertible was acquired by the selling dealer in 2024 and is now offered at no reserve with service records and a Washington state title.
The body was factory-finished in Marina Blue and refinished in 2017. Features include a power-operated black convertible soft top, concealed headlights, an SS-style hood with raised simulated air intakes, dual side mirrors, and chrome bumpers.
The 14″ styled wheels with black centers and polished trim rings are mounted with 235/60 BFGoodrich tires. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in black vinyl. An aftermarket stereo system includes an Alpine CD head unit and a trunk-mounted amplifier and JL Audio subwoofer. The AM/FM radio does not work and the ashtray is missing.
A wood-rimmed steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer. Aftermarket auxiliary gauges are housed in the center console. The five-digit odometer shows 72k miles, approximately 125 miles of which were added under current ownership.
The replacement 327ci L30 V8 was installed in 1985 and is equipped with a Summit-branded air cleaner, a Holley four-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock intake manifold, chrome Edelbrock valve covers, tubular exhaust headers, and a Mallory distributor. The spark plug wires were replaced in April 2024.
The replacement engine stamp pad is shown above.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Borg-Warner five-speed manual transmission that was installed in 1988.
