This 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS coupe is said to have remained in the care of the original owner’s family until the seller acquired the vehicle in 2017, after which a refurbishment was conducted. Work involved refinishing the car in orange, overhauling the black interior, installing a 350ci V8 and an induction cowl hood, adapting front disc brakes and electronic door locks, and fitting a Bluetooth-capable retro-style stereo. Other equipment includes a three-speed automatic transmission, an Edelbrock carburetor, a ZZ-series aluminum intake manifold, concealed headlights, front and rear spoilers, power-assisted brakes, Ridler 17″ wheels, and air conditioning. This Camaro RS is now offered with refurbishment photos, service records, a car cover, and a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.
The car was delivered from the factory in Capri Cream (T) and has been refinished in metallic orange. Exterior features include a replacement cowl-induction hood, concealed headlights with updated actuators, front and rear spoilers, RS badges, bright rocker-panel trim and wheel-arch moldings, chrome bumpers, and dual side mirrors.
Chrome-finished five-spoke Ridler 17″ wheels are mounted with 205/50 front and 235/55 rear Nitto Motivo tires. Braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in black vinyl. Aftermarket power-operated locks are augmented by a fob remote, and other appointments include air conditioning converted to R134, a center console, bright interior accents, and a retro-style Bluetooth stereo.
Instrumentation includes a 120-mph speedometer and a gauge for fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 8k miles, approximately 2k of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The 350ci V8 is said to be a Turbo-Fire L48 unit that was installed during the aforementioned refurbishment and is fitted with an Edelbrock carburetor and a ZZ-series aluminum intake manifold.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed Turbo Hydramatic automatic transmission.
