This 1967 Chevrolet Camaro coupe was acquired by the seller 13 years ago and subsequently refurbished and modified. The car was refinished in yellow with a black nose stripe over black upholstery, and a 454ci LSX V8 was installed along with a Tremec T56 six-speed manual transmission and a 9″ rear end with Moser 35-spline axles and a Wavetrac rear differential. Additional equipment includes front and rear spoilers, 18″ and 19″ Forgeline SP3P wheels, Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes, Retro-Electro electronic headlight doors, an Art Morrison Enterprises front subframe assembly, a Chris Alston Chassisworks G-link rear suspension setup and double-adjustable coilovers as well as Corbeau heated front seats, Vintage Air climate control, an Ididit tilting steering column, a Nardi steering wheel, Dakota Digital gauges, and a RetroSound radio. This Camaro is now offered with spare parts and a clean California title in the seller’s name.
Under the seller’s ownership, the body was refinished in the current shade of yellow with a black nose stripe, reportedly using BASF Glasurit materials. Equipment includes front and rear spoilers, Retro-Electro electronic headlight door motors, a Marquez Design billet fuel cap and taillights, a Detroit Speed windshield wiper motor conversion, and SS, Camaro, and 454 badges. The headlight doors only open and close when the ignition is turned on.
Aftermarket Forgeline SP3P wheels measure 18″ in diameter at the front and 19″ at the rear, and Michelin Pilot Sport run-flat tires measure 245/40 and 325/30, respectively. The car features an Art Morrison Enterprises front subframe assembly and a Chris Alston Chassisworks G-link rear suspension setup along with double-adjustable coilovers, DSE weld-in subframe connectors, DSE rear wheelwell mini-tubs, and front and rear swaybars. The suspension is said to ride stiff. Braking is handled by a Wilwood master cylinder linked to six-piston front and four-piston rear Wilwood calipers over cross-drilled and slotted rotors. An E-stopp parking brake kit has also been added, and the seller notes the parking brake does not engage when the headlights are turned on.
The cabin features heated Corbeau LG1 wide front racing seats and a rear factory-style bench trimmed in black upholstery. Replacement carpeting is applied over Dynamat insulation, and additional equipment includes a Vintage Air Gen IV climate control system, a Twist Machine billet shift lever with a Hurst knob, lap belts, and a RetroSound stereo. Fesler Billet latches, hinges, door handles, and door strikes have also been installed.
A leather-wrapped Nardi steering wheel on an Ididit tilt steering column frames a Dakota Digital HDX speedometer and tachometer linked with a BIM-01 Interface. A trio of gauges for fuel pressure, oil temperature, and air-to-fuel ratio are mounted in the center console. The digital odometer shows 550 miles, and the total mileage is unknown. The seller notes that the speedometer will occasionally not read when pulling away from a stop, and oil temperature and air-to-fuel ratio gauges are inoperable.
The fuel-injected GM Performance Parts 454ci LSX V8 crate engine was installed under current ownership and is equipped with a Champ oil pan, a Wegner WAK033 serpentine front drive kit, and a custom air intake system. Additional equipment includes a PRC aluminum radiator, Painless Performance dual electric fan controller, Lokar drive-by-wire throttle pedal, a Billet Specialties coolant overflow tank, a Norris Motorsport oil catch can, and Firecore 50 custom spark plug wire. An American Autowire Classic Update full wiring harness is installed along with a Rick’s Tanks stainless steel tank with VaporWorx PWM Control, a II Much Fabrication fuel vent, a CTS-V-specification fuel pump, an Optima Red Top battery on a billet bracket, and a custom exhaust system with Stainless Works ceramic coated headers and Magnaflow mufflers with an X-pipe. Oil drips are noted when parked, and the seller notes the Painless PWM cooling fan controller does not function as intended.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a Tremec Magnum T56 six-speed manual transmission with a Quicktime bell housing, hydraulic clutch, Ring Brothers billet reservoir, and RAM hydraulic throwout bearing travel adjuster. Additional equipment includes an Inland Empire 3.5″ aluminum driveshaft, a Chassisworks FAB9 rear axle housing with a back brace, and a 9″ WAVETRAC rear differential with 3.73:1 gearing and Moser 35-spline axles.
A spare fuel pump, wiring diagrams, an Optima battery charger, a flannel-lined car cover, full custom fender covers, and two replacement front spoilers are included in the sale.
