This 1967 Chevrolet Camaro coupe was produced at GM’s Van Nuys, California, facility, and underwent a cosmetic and mechanical refurbishment that was completed under prior ownership. The car has been refinished in red over black vinyl upholstery and is powered by a 327ci V8 paired with a replacement TH400 three-speed automatic transmission. Additional equipment includes an Auburn limited-slip differential, power-assisted front disc brakes, and 15″ American Racing wheels along with a Holley carburetor, a Weiand aluminum intake manifold, an aftermarket camshaft, exhaust headers, Flowmaster mufflers, and a Vintage Air climate control system. Acquired by the seller in 2019, this first-year Camaro is offered with a car cover, and a Pennsylvania title in the seller’s name.
The car was ordered in Tahoe Turquoise (L-L) and was repainted approximately 20 years ago according to the seller. Features include a front lip spoiler, a rear deck spoiler, a cowl induction hood, black hood stripes, and SS-style badging. Bubbling on the lower portions of each door are noted by the seller, and close-up photos of the paintwork, badging, taillights, glass, and other trim are included in the gallery below.
American Racing 15″ wheels wear 165/80 Classic all season tires up front with 275/60 BFGoodrich tires out back. Braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums, and the system was recently serviced with replacement front pads.
Black upholstery and trim are fitted in place of the factory turquoise combination (779) and further additions include a Vintage Air climate control system, a Kenwood head unit, and AutoMeter tachometer and auxiliary gauges. Safety belts are provided for the front and rear occupants, and photos in the gallery further show the equipment, materials, and trim.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer and a fuel gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 77k miles, approximately 500 of which have been added by the seller. True mileage is unknown.
The 327ci V8 was reportedly modified under prior ownership with an aftermarket camshaft, a Mallory distributor, and a Holley 600-cfm carburetor mounted atop a Weiand aluminum intake manifold. Further additions include a Painless Wiring-sourced wiring harness, Chevrolet-branded valve covers, aftermarket exhaust headers, and Flowmaster mufflers, the latter of which were recently installed by the seller.
The engine suffix code “MF” corresponds with a 1967 model-year 327ci V8 equipped with a two-barrel carburetor and a Powerglide automatic transmission.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a replacement TH400 three-speed automatic transmission and a 10-bolt rear end housing an Auburn limited-slip differential with 3.73:1 gearing. Additional photos showing the suspension, chassis, and driveline are presented in the gallery below.
