This is a transcript of a YouTube video where Jade Rams, a representative of Volo Auto Museum, presents a 1966 Dodge Coronet 500 for sale. The video provides a detailed description of the vehicle’s condition, both inside and out, and highlights its pristine restoration. This blog post will delve into the noteworthy features of this collector car and the exceptional quality of the restoration, capturing the essence of the Volo Auto Museum’s commitment to excellence.

Exceptional Undercarriage

The number one thing that sticks in my mind when I looked underneath this car is how clean the metal is. The floors, the frame rails, even the lower inner quarters—it looks to me like it’s all the original metal. There’s no cutouts, no patches, super nice, dry, clean metal front to back underneath this car. It has a nice satin black semi-gloss black finish, correct dual exhaust system, factory-type mufflers, drum brakes all around, and new brake hoses. The front end looks like it’s all been rebuilt, and all the steering suspension ball joints look like they’ve been replaced. It’s exceptionally clean metal and components that truly speak to the quality of the restoration.

Impeccable Bodywork

The body is gorgeous—it’s straight, the lines are straight, and everything looks great. There are no waves or ripples, and the paint is like glass. The bright red color is virtually perfect, and the body lines are impeccable. The Mopar Penstar emblem on one side provides a unique touch, and the overall body condition is in the realm of show quality. Notably, the exterior of this car is a standout feature that highlights the meticulous restoration and attention to detail at Volo Auto Museum.

Pristine Interior

Under the trunk lid, everything is painted slick, and the overall trunk area is in excellent condition. Moving to the interior, the door jambs, the bottom of the doors, and the dash area are beautiful and well-maintained. The seats, door panels, and center console show a high level of care and attention, and the interior presents a show-quality appearance. From the details in the trunk to the overall interior, this car exudes a level of pristine quality that sets it apart.

Exquisite Engine Bay

Under the hood, the correct 383 big block motor presents a detailed and restored show condition. Every component under the hood, from the valve covers to the air cleaner, exemplifies the commitment to excellence. The cleanliness and meticulous restoration of the engine bay highlight the overall impressive quality of this 1966 Dodge Coronet 500, making it a standout feature of this collector car.
