This 1966 Chevrolet Impala is finished in Ermine White over a refurbished black vinyl interior and powered by a 396ci V8 paired with a 3-speed automatic transmission. The seller acquired the car seven months ago and has driven it approximately 400 miles as well as installing new shocks and replacing the oil pan, oil pump, and engine mounts. This fourth-generation Impala is offered with an uninstalled set of Hedman headers and a California title.
The body is finished in Ermine White, and the seller states that it was repainted from a previous blue at some point in the past two years. The paintwork is shown up close in the gallery below.
Chrome-ringed 15″ Rally wheels are mounted with Goodyear Assurance tires in the front and Michelin Pilots in the rear. The car has been lowered and features new front dampers and rear air shocks installed under current ownership.
The seller states that the interior has been refurbished including the carpets, black vinyl seat upholstery, and headliner. A factory AM radio is installed in the dash and the car is equipped with power windows and an air conditioning system, though the latter is inoperable. A Viper car alarm is also installed. The 5-digit odometer shows approximately 28k miles.
The 396ci big-block V8 was installed under previous ownership and is mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission. Recent service reportedly included fitment of a new oil pan gasket, oil pump, oil pressure sender, and engine mounts. A set of uninstalled Hedman Headers is included in the sale. The seller has a loan out on this car, and his lender will need to be paid off before title can be transferred to the new owner.
A video with engine start-up and a walk-around is shown above.
