This 1966 Chevrolet Chevy II two-door sedan is powered by a 388ci V8 mated to a Tremec five-speed manual transmission and a PosiTraction differential that were installed following the current owner’s acquisition in 2020. Cosmetic refurbishment under prior ownership included repainting the exterior in blue and replacing the blue vinyl and cloth upholstery. Additional equipment includes a COMP Cams camshaft and a forged crankshaft, rods, and pistons as well as an Edelbrock intake manifold, an MSD ignition system, chrome bumpers, 17″ US Mags wheels, aftermarket suspension components, and front lap belts. This Chevy II is now offered by the seller on behalf of the owner with a removed engine and wheels, build records, manufacturer’s literature, a historical bill of sale, a reproduction window sticker, and a clean Maryland title in the owner’s name.
Finished from the factory in Mist Blue, the body was reportedly disassembled and repainted under prior ownership. Exterior features include 327 badging, hooded headlights, and a chrome left mirror and bumpers.
Chrome-finished 17″ US Mags wheels are mounted with 215/50 front and 225/50 rear Michelin Primacy MXM4 tires. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel drum brakes. Suspension modifications include a Hellwig front sway bar, an ADDCO rear sway bar, and Calvert Racing CalTracs traction bars. A spare wheel and tire set and hubcaps are included in the sale and shown in the image gallery below.
The blue interior was refurbished under prior ownership and features vinyl- and cloth-trimmed seating surfaces. Additional equipment includes black-finished floors, front lap belts, vent windows, and a Hurst shift handle. The radio, lighter, and rear armrests were removed.
The two-spoke steering wheel fronts a horizontal 120-mph speedometer and a fuel level gauge. Auxiliary gauges are mounted below the dashboard along with a “knee-knocker” tachometer. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 69k miles, approximately 400 of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
