This 1965 Chevrolet Nova was purchased by the seller four years ago as a project and subsequently refurbished, including a repaint and new interior components. Power comes from a Chevrolet 350 crate motor, which features a number of Edelbrock performance parts and is backed by a TH350 automatic with a shift kit. The car is also equipped with a Mustang II steering rack, front disc brakes, American Racing wheels, new wiring, a tilt steering column, and more as described below. This Nova has been driven very little since the refresh was completed, and it is now being offered with a clean California title in the seller’s name.
A repaint in a dark blue was performed during the seller’s refurbishment, and the lower rear quarter panels were replaced with sheet metal from Dynacorn. The seller reports that he purchased the car in California, and a 7-digit blue license plate is mounted out back.
14″ American Racing wheels wear 205/65 tires up front and 215/60s out back. Front disc brakes are equipped along with tubular A-arms, Mustang II rack-and-pinion steering, front coilover shocks, and an aftermarket cowl hood.
Interior refurbishments included reupholstering the front and rear seats, replacing the wiring, and replacing the rubber molding.
The car has been fitted with a tilt steering column, as well as an aftermarket steering wheel and auxiliary gauges mounted below the center dash. A cutout for a head unit can be seen in the photo above, but the car is not being sold with a radio. 42k miles are currently shown on the odometer, though the true mileage is unknown.
The Chevrolet 350ci V8 crate motor is backed by a TH350 automatic transmission featuring a shift kit. The engine is equipped with an Edelbrock carburetor and intake, as well as headers and a dual exhaust system.
