1964 Chevrolet Nova

This 1964 Chevrolet Chevy II Nova four-door sedan is powered by a 194ci Hi-Thrift inline-six mated to a two-speed Powerglide automatic transmission. The seller acquired the car in 2006, and it was refinished in aqua in 2022. Equipment includes blue vinyl-trimmed front and rear bench seating, 13″ steel wheels with hubcaps, chrome bumpers, a driver-side side mirror, front seat belts, and a heater. This Chevy II Nova is now offered with Maine registration in the seller’s name.

This four-door sedan example left the factory finished in Satin Silver (940), and it was refinished in aqua in 2022 following rust repairs on the fenders. Features include a bright grille and headlight bezels, chrome bumpers, a driver-side side mirror, and Chevy II and Nova badging. The antenna is a replacement, but it is not connected to the radio.

The 13″ steel wheels wear bright hubcaps and are mounted with 185/70R13 Sailun Atrezzo SH406 tires. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel drum brakes.

The cabin features front and rear bench seating upholstered in blue vinyl as well as a heater, front lap belts, armrests, and rubber floor mats. The radio does not work.

The two-spoke steering wheel features a chrome horn ring and frames a 120-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and a fuel gauge alongside oil pressure, engine temperature, and generator warning lights. The five-digit odometer shows 55k miles, approximately 6k of which were added under current ownership.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a two-speed Powerglide automatic transmission. Corrosion is present on underbody components. The underside photos were taken in July 2022.

  • Paint: 940-B – Satin Silver
  • ACC: 2M5V – M35 Powerglide transmission, seat belts

The car does not have a title, as it is registered in a state that does not issue titles for a vehicle of its age. It is being sold on its Maine registration, which has expired.
