This 1964 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu coupe is finished in white over a black vinyl interior, and it is powered by a replacement 350ci LS6 V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. The seller acquired the car in 2019 and commissioned a refurbishment that included an interior refresh and replacement of the powertrain. Features include a Ridetech adjustable air-suspension system, custom bodywork, a Holley Terminator X engine-management system, a Vintage Air climate-control system, a JBL stereo, MagnaFlow exhaust, Powerfire LSX coil packs, power windows, and power locks. This modified Malibu is now offered with refurbishment photos and a clean Arizona title in the seller’s name.
The body was repainted in its current shade of white under prior ownership. Power steering and power-assisted brakes were added during the refurbishment, and the taillights have been integrated into the rear bumper. Additional equipment includes side mirrors, a bright front grille, matte-black window trim and door handles, body-color bumpers, and a black hood wrap with “LS6” markings.
Gray-finished alloy wheels feature polished lips and are wrapped in Toyo Extensa HP tires. The car is equipped with Ridetech adjustable air-ride suspension, which is run through a separate PSI harness. The front left suspension exhibits a leak.
The interior features front bucket seats, a rear bench, and door-panel inserts upholstered in black vinyl with matching carpets and upper dash. Interior equipment includes a Vintage Air A/C system, an aftermarket sound system with JBL subwoofers and amplifiers fitted in the trunk, and a Ridetech suspension controller, along with power windows and power locks. Dynamat sound-deadening material was applied to the floorboards during the refurbishment.
A billet-aluminum leather-wrapped steering wheel with a Chevrolet bow-tie emblem fronts replacement instrumentation that consists of a 160-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The seller notes that approximately 10 miles have been accumulated since completion of the refurbishment; true chassis mileage is unknown.
The replacement GM-derived 350ci LS6 V8 was fitted during the refurbishment. Features include a Holley Terminator X engine-management system, an aluminum radiator, and Powerfire LSX coil packs. Final adjustments and tuning are needed.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a replacement GM 4L60E four-speed automatic transmission and a 12-bolt rear axle with a TA Performance differential cover. A MagnaFlow exhaust system and front-end components sourced from a Ford Mustang are utilized, and additional underside photos are provided in the gallery below.
