This 1963 Chevrolet Impala Sport Sedan is powered by a 283ci V8 paired with a three-speed manual transmission with overdrive, and it is finished in metallic blue with a white roof over blue vinyl and fabric upholstery. The car was acquired by the current owner in 2022, reportedly from its original owner, and subsequent work is said to have included rebuilding the radiator, refreshing the suspension, and replacing the clutch, water pump, heater core, and fuel tank, in addition to installing an electronic ignition system, power-assisted front disc brakes, and rack-and-pinion steering. This Impala is now offered on consignment by the selling dealer with a clean Wyoming title.
The pillar-less body is finished in metallic blue with a white roof, and exterior details include fender-mounted side mirrors, a rear antenna, and front vent windows. Various paint chips, scratches, dents, and areas of corrosion can be seen up close in the gallery below.
Blue-finished 14” steel wheels wear bright covers and are mounted with 215/75 Coker white-stripe tires that were installed following the current owner’s acquisition in 2022. A full-size spare is found in the trunk. Additional work since then has reportedly included installing power-assisted rack-and-pinion steering and front disc brakes, as well as replacing the springs, shocks, and rear brake shoes.
The cabin houses two rows of bench seats trimmed in blue vinyl and patterned blue fabric. Color-keyed vinyl upholstery covers the door panels, and the floors are lined with darker blue carpets protected by rubber mats. An aftermarket push-button radio with an auxiliary input has been installed, and the heater core has been rebuilt per the seller. A tear on the driver’s seat back is shown in the gallery.
A two-spoke steering wheel with a half horn ring frames a horizontal 120-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and a fuel level gauge. The five-digit odometer shows approximately 92k miles, around 250 of which have been added by the current owner.
The 283ci V8 is topped by a single carburetor and features an electronic ignition system. Service under current ownership has reportedly included rebuilding the radiator and replacing the fuel tank, fuel pump, water pump, heater core, muffler, battery and cables, belts, and hoses.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a column-shifted three-speed manual transmission with overdrive. The clutch and pressure plate are said to have been replaced since the car was acquired by the current owner in 2022. The seller notes corrosion on the frame, and additional underbody photos are provided in the gallery.
