This 1963 Chevrolet Impala coupe was manufactured in St. Louis, Missouri and has been with the seller since 2017. A refurbishment carried out under previous ownership in October 2014 featured exterior and interior color changes along with work addressing the suspension, powertrain, and other major systems as detailed below. Power is provided by a 327ci V8 that was rebuilt with upgraded internals and mated to an overhauled Muncie 4-speed manual transmission. Receipts documenting the refurbishment and engine rebuild are reportedly included in the sale along with records from the owner’s time with the car, including those for a new battery and oil change. This Impala is offered with a clean Wyoming title in the seller’s name.
Finished from the factory in Azure Aqua (963), the car was repainted in its current Saddle Tan under a white roof under previous ownership. Several new trim and hardware components include fresh bumper guards, stainless steel side moldings, headlight bezels, and exterior mirrors as well as a new antenna. Replacement weatherstripping and seals were fitted along with period SS badging.
Polished Torq Thrust wheels are fitted with Hankook blackwall tires in staggered widths. Dual-circuit power brakes have been updated with new discs up front and rebuilt drums at the rear as well as fresh pads, shoes, and lines.
Delivered from the factory in Aqua cloth (853) with a front bench seat, the interior has been given a color change and refreshed with new bucket seats, door panels, and carpets. A new Hurst shift lever has been installed, and the steering wheel has been repainted to match the interior. Noted issues include waviness on the package tray and looseness in the rear corner of the headliner.
A new padded dash houses reproduction instruments along with a set of accessory gauges mounted beneath. Additional updates include new under-dash wiring and a replacement ignition module. The 5-digit odometer presently reads 28k miles per the seller, who believes the true mileage to be 128k.

The frame was reportedly sanded to bare metal and coated with POR-15, while the underbody was sealed and repainted. Additional undercarriage photos are included in the gallery below.
