This 1963 Chevrolet Chevy II Nova SS convertible was purchased out of California by the seller in 2014. It is powered by a 327ci V8 paired with a two-speed automatic transmission and is finished in red with a white soft top over a red interior. Equipment includes an aftermarket front subframe kit, power steering, dual exhaust, a Sony CD stereo, and 14″ wheels with whitewall tires. This Nova SS convertible is now offered with an owner’s manual, a repair guide, and a clean Colorado title in the seller’s name.
Originally Ermine White, the exterior was refinished in red during previous ownership and features a white convertible top, chrome driver-side exterior mirror, chrome bumpers, and Nova SS badging on the rear quarter panels and trunk lid. The seller notes a variation in the color of the paintwork on the trunk lid when compared to other panels, and imperfections include paint cracks and chips. A white convertible top boot is included in the sale.
14″ wheels with SS covers and center caps wear 185/75 Hankook and 205/75 Bridgestone whitewall tires. The seller mentions that the springs have been cut to lower the vehicle.
The interior features front buckets and a rear bench upholstered in red vinyl along with a color-matched steering wheel, seatbelts, door trim, carpets, and dashboard. A Delco AM radio is accompanied by an aftermarket Sony CD head unit mounted below the dash. An aftermarket alarm system was installed during previous ownership.
The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer, a clock, and a combination gauge with fuel level, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and amperage readouts. The five-digit odometer shows just over 1k miles, and true mileage is unknown.
The 327ci V8 was installed during previous ownership and sends power to the rear wheels via a two-speed automatic transmission. Other features include a dual exhaust system, and a 55-amp alternator was installed in 2018 along with replacement power steering system components. The seller reports that the transmission fluid filter was replaced in August 2020.
A Classic Performance Products Mini Sub-Frame Kit has been installed in the front and consists of a replacement front cross member and lower control arms. Additional underside photos are provided in the gallery below.
