1962 Chevrolet Impala Sport Coupe

This 1962 Chevrolet Impala is finished in red over red and is powered by a replacement 409ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission. The car reportedly underwent a refurbishment of the bodywork, paint, and interior in the mid-2010s and was acquired by the current owner in 2021. Features include chrome bumpers and trim, 14″ steel wheels with polished hub caps, power steering, dual chrome outside mirrors, a Delco push-button radio, and a column-mounted tachometer. This Impala coupe is now offered by the seller on behalf of the current owner with a clean California title in the owner’s name.

The two-spoke steering wheel frames a horizontal 120-mph speedometer, a column-mounted 7k-rpm tachometer, an analog clock, and gauges indicating coolant temperature and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 73k miles, approximately 300 of which were added by the seller. Total mileage is unknown.

The 409ci V8 was installed under previous ownership and features a dual-inlet air cleaner, a four-barrel carburetor on an aluminum intake manifold, and “409 Turbo Fire” valve covers.
