1962 Chevrolet Impala 409 Convertible

This 1962 Chevrolet Impala convertible underwent a refurbishment that was completed in 2012 and is powered by a 409ci V8 that is equipped with dual carburetors and an Edelbrock intake manifold. Shifting is through a four-speed manual transmission, and the rear end has 3.36:1 gears. The car is a red-on-red example that is equipped with a black soft top, front bucket seats, quad headlights, chrome bumpers and trim, dual antennas, power steering and brakes, and 14″ steel wheels with simulated knock-off covers. The car was purchased out of Arizona for the seller’s father in 2014 and was subsequently relocated to Texas. This Impala is now offered with a clean Texas title in the seller’s name.

Steel 14″ wheels wear simulated knock-off covers and are mounted with Cooper Trendsetter SE tires. The car is equipped with power-assisted steering and brakes.

The cabin houses front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in red vinyl, and the carpeting was replaced in 2024. Appointments include vent windows, metal trim accents, a center console, manual-crank windows, a radio, and a heater.

The two-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a horizontal 120-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and auxiliary readouts. A tachometer is mounted to the left side of the steering column, and a trio of aftermarket readouts is mounted below the dashboard. The five-digit odometer shows 61k miles.
