This 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air 2-Door hardtop is finished in Torch Red over a custom black leather interior and powered by a supercharged 350ci V8 linked with a TH400 three-speed automatic transmission. Features include a Weiand supercharger that breathes through a Holley four-barrel carburetor, billet serpentine drive and chrome dress-up engine components, dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers, power steering with a 605-style steering box, power-assisted front disc brakes, lowered suspension, Vintage Air climate control, Rod Works chrome 5-spoke wheels, an Intellitronix Digital dash, and a RetroSound Laguna stereo. The car was acquired by the selling dealer in November of 2020 and subsequent work consisted of installing a digital dash, billet steering wheel, exhaust system, and stereo as well as suspension modifications, interior refurbishment, and engine tuning. This modified Bel Air is offered with a clean Arizona title.
The car is said to have been repainted in Torch Red under previous ownership. Features include a single-piece California front bumper, chrome and gold Bel Air trim, a gold grille, twin wind splits on the hood, dual exterior mirrors, and dual exhaust outlets.
Chrome 17″ and 20″ Rod Works wheels wear Milestar MS932 tires. Braking is provided by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. The car features power steering and a lowered suspension with drop spindles up front and replacement springs in the rear.
The cabin features bench seats upholstered in black leather with matching door trim panels, visors, and trim. Features include a black suede headliner, Daytona weave carpeting, rubber floor mats, lap belts, Vintage Air climate control, and a RetroSound Laguna stereo. The trunk features custom leather paneling with chrome trim and matching weave carpeting and a concealed compartment for the Optima battery.
The leather-wrapped billet steering wheel mounted on a tilt-column frames an Intellitronix Digital dash which displays speedometer, coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level readouts. The digital odometer shows 164 miles which are said to represent the mileage since digital dash installation. Total mileage is unknown.
The replacement 350ci V8 Chevrolet Performance crate motor was modified with electronic ignition, an aluminum radiator with an electric fan, a Weiand supercharger that breathes through a Holley four-barrel carburetor, headers, and a custom dual exhaust system. The engine bay features chrome dress-up parts and a billet serpentine accessory drive system.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a TH400 three-speed automatic transmission.
