This 1957 Chevrolet 210 two-door coupe was refinished in metallic gray in the 1990s and fitted with a 350ci GM Performance Parts Ram Jet crate motor and a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission after the current owner’s 2013 acquisition. The frame was modified to accommodate C4 Corvette-style four-wheel independent suspension, and 17″ Budnik wheels are mounted over hyroboosted disc brakes. Further equipment includes a limited-slip differential, fuel injection, chrome bumpers, Bel Air-style exterior trim, and Flowmaster mufflers, while the cabin is outfitted with patterned gray upholstery, a retro-look digital radio, Dakota Digital gauges, and aftermarket air conditioning. This 210 is now offered on dealer consignment and a clean Wyoming title.
The car was repainted in the current shade of metallic gray in the 1990s, and polished Bel Air-style trim accents the rear quarter panels. Further details include twin wind splits, hooded headlights, tinted glass, a fuel filler concealed above the left taillight, and Rain Gear electric wipers. Photos of imperfections in the finish are provided in the gallery.
Chrome 17″ Budnik Fontana wheels are mounted with 245/45 front and 285/40 rear Nitto NT555 Extreme ZR tires. Stopping power is provided by a hydroboosted four-wheel disc system with a Wilwood master cylinder. The car rides on a modified frame and a C4 Corvette-style independent front and rear suspension with Bilstein shocks.
The split-folding front bench seat is upholstered in gray vinyl with patterned inserts. Appointments consist of a retro-look digital radio and aftermarket air conditioning. The headliner is stained and the analog clock is broken.
The aftermarket steering wheel sits on a chrome tilting column and frames a Dakota Digital replacement cluster. The five-digit odometer shows 775 miles, which is said to represent the mileage accumulated since the completion of the build. Total mileage is unknown.
The replacement 350ci GM Performance Parts Ram Jet crate engine was installed in 2014 and is equipped with an aluminum radiator and chrome valve covers.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed 700R4 automatic transmission and a Dana 44 rear axle with a limited-slip differential and 3.45:1 gears. A Rick’s fuel tank is installed along with a dual exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers.
