This 1957 Chevrolet 210 Delray Club Coupe is said to have remained with its original owner through the early 2020s and been refurbished around 2017. It is powered by a 265ci V8 paired with a four-speed Muncie M20 manual transmission and is refinished in bronze and ivory over beige and copper vinyl. Equipment includes 15″ Corvette Rally-style wheels, a cabin heater, a Hurst shifter, a push-button AM radio, and a split-folding front bench seat. The seller purchased the car in California in 2023 and subsequently relocated it to Colorado and had the Rally wheels and four-speed transmission installed. This Delray Club Coupe is now offered at no reserve with partial service records, the removed wheels and three-speed manual transmission with linkage, a shop manual, two issues of Classic Chevy World magazine, and a clean Colorado title in the seller’s name.
The car was refinished in bronze and ivory and features a hood ornament, chrome bumpers, hooded headlights, a fuel filler concealed above the left taillight, and chrome trim. A paint touch-up is shown in the gallery.
The 15″ Rally-style wheels are mounted with 235/60 Firestone Firehawk raised white-letter outline tires. The removed wheels are included in the sale. Braking is provided by front and rear drums.
The cabin features a split-folding front bench seat reupholstered in beige and patterned copper vinyl. The rear bench was not reupholstered during the aforementioned refurbishment, and the seller notes a color difference. Interior appointments include a Hurst shifter, a cabin heater, front floor mats, a push-button AM radio, a locking glovebox, a clock, and vent windows.
The two-spoke steering wheel features a chrome horn ring, though the horn does not work. The 120-mph speedometer is flanked by engine temperature and fuel level gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 2k miles, approximately 100 of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The 265ci V8 wears polished valve covers and was reportedly rebuilt under previous ownership.
The engine stamp shown above reads “F3I8C”, which is consistent with a 1957 model year 265ci V8 paired with a three-speed manual transmission.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Muncie four-speed manual transmission that was installed in October 2023. The removed three-speed manual transmission is included in the sale.
