This 1957 Chevrolet 150 is two-door sedan that is not equipped with a rear seat, radio, passenger sun visor, or rear quarter window regulators. The car was acquired by the selling dealer in 2019 following a refurbishment under previous ownership that included new ivory and turquoise paint, two-tone interior upholstery, and more. Power is supplied by a replacement 350ci V8 crate engine that features four-bolt mains and is paired with a Muncie M21 four-speed manual transmission. This 150 Business Sedan is offered in Florida with engine warranty documentation and a clean North Carolina title.
The 150 model wore less ornamentation when compared to the contemporary 210 and Bel Air models, and this example features fixed rear quarter windows. Originally finished in ivory and silver, it underwent a color change to India Ivory and Tropical Turquoise under previous ownership. The condition of the chrome trim and badging is shown up close in the gallery below.
The headlights are fitted with factory-style T-3 bulbs according to the selling dealer. Black 15″ steel wheels wear chrome hubcaps and are wrapped in BFGoodrich tubeless bias-ply tires.
The cabin has been reupholstered in black vinyl with Cobblestone inserts and replacement carpets, while the dash has been refinished to match the exterior. Amenities include roll-down windows in the doors as well as lap belts for the driver and outboard passenger. The car was reportedly ordered without a rear seat, radio, or passenger sun visor.
Instrumentation consists of a speedometer as well as gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows just over 100 miles, which is said to be the distance driven since the refurbishment was completed. Total chassis mileage is unknown.
The replacement 350ci V8 crate engine reportedly features four-bolt main bearing caps and was installed in 2019. An aluminum radiator and a 2″ dual exhaust system have also been fitted. Warranty documentation for the engine is included with the car.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a replacement Muncie M21 four-speed manual transmission. Additional underside photos are available in the gallery below.
