This 1957 Chevrolet 150 two-door sedan was modified following the seller’s 2005 acquisition with the installation of a 6.0-liter LY6 Vortec V8 and a Tremec T56 Magnum six-speed manual transmission, a repaint in two-tone blue, a refresh of the blue interior, and the addition of Bel Air-style trim. Equipment includes a Mast Motorsports camshaft, four-wheel disc brakes, 17″ American Racing wheels, a narrowed rear end, and mini-tubbed rear wheel wells along with a lowered ride height, Classic Performance Productions control arms, KYB shocks, and Hellwig sway bars. The bench seating is trimmed in blue vinyl with patterned inserts, and a retro-style head unit is linked to aftermarket speakers. This modified 150 is now offered with a car cover and a clean Minnesota title in the seller’s name.
The car has been re-finished in two-tone blue with white quarter-panel fills, and the seller notes that parts of the floor pan, trunk pan, rocker panels, rear quarter panels, and lower fenders were also replaced. The car is adorned with Bel Air-style badging and trim.
American Racing 17″ wheels are mounted with mixed Michelin Pilot Sport tires that measure 225/50 up front and 335/35 out back, and a 3″ rear mini-tub kit is installed. Braking is provided by four-wheel discs. The rear springs have been relocated with a pocket kit, the ride height has been lowered, and suspension includes Classic Performance Products control arms, KYB shocks, and Hellwig sway bars.
The seller notes that the interior was refreshed by Ciadella Interiors of Tempe, Arizona, and the seats are trimmed in blue vinyl with contrasting patterned inserts. Appointments include a retro-style head unit, aftermarket speakers, an aftermarket shifter, and power windows. The installation of the Vintage Air climate control system has not been completed, per the seller.
The two-spoke steering wheel has a chrome horn ring and sits ahead of aftermarket gauges including a 160-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary readouts. The digital odometer shows 15k miles. Total mileage is unknown.
The seller notes that the 6.0-liter LY6 Vortec V8 was installed under current ownership and equipped with a Mast Motorsports camshaft, valve springs, and phaser limiter along with revised engine management software. A Griffin radiator and fabricated cold air intake are also installed. The dual exhaust system features ceramic-coated headers and Flowmaster mufflers.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec T56 Magnum six-speed manual transmission and a Ford 9″ narrowed rear end with a 3.89 gear set. A Rick’s stainless-steel fuel tank is fitted.
