This 1956 Chevrolet 210 is a two-door sedan that was refurbished under previous ownership with work that included repainting the exterior in Merlot Pearl and Creme Brulee, retrimming the interior in beige leather, and installing a 350ci V8 mated to a Turbo-Hydramatic three-speed automatic transmission. The car is equipped with a lowered suspension, front disc brakes, 15″ B/G Rod Works wheels, chrome bumpers, Vintage Air climate control, power windows, and a push-button digital stereo. The seller acquired the car in 2019 and an oil change was performed in August 2023. This 210 is offered with refurbishment photos and documentation and a clean Illinois title in the seller’s name.
Finished from the factory in India Ivory and Twilight Turquoise (710), the body was removed from the frame during the refurbishment and repainted Merlot Pearl and Creme Brulee. Exterior details include chrome bumpers and trim, dual mirrors, quarter vent windows, and dual exhaust outlets. The seller notes chips on the hood and a close-up photo presented in the gallery shows a ding in the trim.
Bright-finished B/G Rod Works wheels are mounted with 225/60 BFGoodrich Radial T/A white-letter tires. The suspension is lowered 1.5” in the front and 1.0” in the rear, and braking is handled by front discs and rear drums.
The cabin has been lined with Cool-It insulation material and fitted with a split front bench and rear bench trimmed in beige leather with cloth inserts complemented by color-coordinated door panels, and tan carpets. Amenities include Vintage Air climate control, aftermarket cruise control, power windows, and a push-button digital stereo linked with Pioneer speakers.
The three-spoke steering wheel features a chrome horn ring and frames a Classic Instruments cluster consisting of a 140-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for fuel level, voltage, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The six-digit odometer shows 5k miles, approximately 225 of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The 350ci V8 was installed during the refurbishment and features a polished intake manifold, an Edelbrock ASV2 four-barrel carburetor, a ribbed air cleaner cover and valve covers, tubular headers, and a Painless Wiring harness. An oil change was performed in August 2023.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a Turbo-Hydramatic three-speed automatic transmission. The seller states that the frame was powdercoated during the refurbishment.
Photos from various stages of the refurbishment are provided in the gallery below.
