This 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air is a two-door hardtop that is finished in turquoise and white over a matching interior and powered by a 350ci V8 mated to a four-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes 15″ chrome SSI Rally wheels, power steering, front disc brakes, air conditioning, lap belts, and a retro-style stereo linked to a CD changer. The car was refurbished during prior ownership and was acquired by the seller in 2007. This Bel Air is now offered with modification records and a clean North Carolina title.
The body was refinished in turquoise and white during previous ownership. Styling touches include a “hood bird” hood ornament, chrome side spears, and Bel Air badging.
Chrome 15″ SSI Rally wheels with black inserts are mounted with 215/75 Cooper Trendsetter tires. The car is equipped with power-assisted steering and brakes.
The cabin features two-tone upholstery on the seats and door panels, along with turquoise carpets. Equipment includes air conditioning, front and rear lap belts, an adjustable front seat, a retro-style stereo, a CD changer, and Focal speakers mounted in custom kick panels and on the rear shelf.
The three-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a 100-mph speedometer, which the seller states was recently replaced. The five-digit odometer shows 45 miles. The factory temperature gauge does not work, and an aftermarket gauge is mounted below the dashboard. Total mileage is unknown.
The 350ci V8 was installed during current ownership and is equipped with a 600-cfm Edelbrock carburetor and an MSD billet distributor. An oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed TH700R4 automatic transmission with overdrive. The seller notes the transmission is not equipped with a neutral safety switch.
