This 1955 Chevrolet 210 two-door sedan was refurbished and modified after the seller’s 2022 acquisition, and it is powered by a 350ci V8 that was assembled with a Scat crankshaft and rods, a COMP camshaft, an Edelbrock intake manifold, a Holley carburetor, and Patriot headers. Power is routed through a modified three-speed automatic transmission and a 12-bolt rear end with a limited-slip differential, and the car rides on 15″ Cragar wheels over front disc and rear drum brakes. It is finished in orange and white and the cabin is trimmed in gray cloth and vinyl and appointed with a tilt steering wheel, auxiliary gauges, and a Custom Autosound stereo linked with Kicker speakers. This 210 is now offered with service records, a maintenance log, and a Washington state title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in orange and white and features a hood ornament, hooded headlights, dual chrome mirrors, dual exhaust outlets, one-piece LED taillights, and chrome smoothie-style bumpers. The car was re-wired in July 2023, and the hood ornament was installed in 2022, according to the seller.
Chrome Cragar S/S wheels are mounted with Cooper CSS Ultra tires. Braking is provided by front discs and rear drums, and the rear wheel cylinders and shoes are said to have been replaced in February 2024.
The bench seats are upholstered in gray vinyl and cloth, and bowtie-patterned trim accents the dashboard. A Custom Autosound stereo is linked to Kicker rear speakers, and a battery shutoff switch is mounted in the trunk. Frayed material behind the driver’s seat is noted.
The three-spoke steering wheel and tilting column were installed in 2023, and instrumentation includes a 110-mph speedometer along with readouts for fuel level and coolant temperature. A tachometer and auxiliary gauges are mounted below the dashboard. The replacement odometer shows 400 miles, and the total mileage is unknown.
The replacement 350ci V8 is equipped with a Holley 770-cfm carburetor atop a polished Edelbrock Performer intake manifold, and additional equipment reportedly includes a Scat crankshaft and connecting rods, a COMP solid roller camshaft, a hardened balancer, Flo-Tek aluminum cylinder heads, ARP fasteners, a revised oil pump, an MSD distributor, and an aluminum radiator. Patriot long-tube headers flow to a dual exhaust system with MagnaFlow mufflers. Service since 2023 is said to have included replacing ignition components, the fuel pump, rear main seal, and gaskets for the intake manifold and oil pan, and an oil change was performed in February 2024.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a TH350 three-speed automatic transmission that is equipped with a performance shift kit and a 3,000-rpm stall-speed torque converter. The 12-bolt rear end is said to have been fitted with a limited-slip differential, 3.73:1 gears, and a Mr. Gasket cover. Work in February 2024 included replacing the rear axle seals, transmission shift seal, and other transmission components, according to the seller.
The current Washington state title carries an “antique” designation under the brands section.
