This 1955 Chevrolet 210 two-door sedan was acquired by the seller in 2015 as a partially disassembled project that spent nearly five decades off the road. It was subsequently modified and refurbished with a repaint in blue and white, a refresh of the matching interior, and the installation of a 496ci V8, a Tremec TKO 600 five-speed manual transmission, and a 9″ rear end with Yukon 4.30 gears. Additional equipment includes a Holley carburetor, 17″ US Mags wheels, MagnaFlow mufflers, and power-assisted front disc brakes in addition to back-up lights, air conditioning, and a retro-style Bluetooth stereo linked to aftermarket speakers. This 210 is now offered with a clean Wisconsin title in the seller’s name.
The seller notes that the car was refinished in Bahama Blue and pearl effect white following bodywork in 2017 that involved replacing the hood and bumper fillers. The car is equipped with chrome bumpers, back-up lights, and chrome trim.
US Mags 17″ five-spoke wheels are mounted with Kumho tires. Braking is handled by cross-drilled and slotted discs up front and drums out back. Rear leaf springs and traction bars are also installed.
The cabin features a split-back front bench and a rear bench seat upholstered in blue and white vinyl, which is complemented by coordinated door panels, blue carpets, and bowtie-patterned dash trim. Interior appointments include a front console, lap belts, a cueball shifter, aftermarket air conditioning, and a retro-style Bluetooth stereo linked to aftermarket speakers.
The aftermarket steering wheel sits ahead of a replacement instrument cluster with a 160-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer shows 18k miles, which is said to represent the miles traveled since the refurbishment. Total mileage is unknown.
The seller notes that the 496ci V8 was rebuilt during the refurbishment and equipped with a Holley carburetor, a polished aluminum radiator, a Milodon oil pan, and a 25-gallon fuel tank.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec TKO 600 five-speed manual transmission and a 9″ rear end with a Yukon 4.30 gear set. Moser axles are also installed, and the dual exhaust system with MagnaFlow mufflers exits under the car behind the rear axle.
