This 1955 Chevrolet 150 two-door sedan is powered by a 235ci inline-six paired with a column-shifted three-speed manual transmission. Cosmetically refurbished during previous ownership, it was equipped with lowered suspension, widened rear wheel wells, staggered-diameter Foose wheels, unassisted front disc brakes, and a replacement fuel tank and exhaust system after it was acquired by the seller in 2018. The car is finished in red and gray over two-tone upholstery, and it features 210-style side trim, a 15″ steering wheel with a horn ring, and a cassette stereo. This 150 is now offered with a Utah title in the seller’s name that lists the vehicle as a 210 model.
Featuring bright trim on the doors and rear quarter panels, the car was refinished in its current red and gray scheme after accident damage was repaired in the 1980s according to the seller, who notes paint flaws around the body and rust repairs in the trunk floor.
Sized at 18″ up front and 20″ out back, five-spoke Foose wheels are wrapped in 245/40 front and 285/35 rear Nitto NT555 G2 tires. The rear wheel wells were widened during current ownership, and lowered suspension was fitted with a front stabilizer bar, leaf springs relocated under the frame rails, and KYB dampers. Unassisted front disc brakes with ventilated rotors were also installed after the seller acquired the car, while drums were retained out back.
Refreshed during previous ownership, the cabin houses bench seats trimmed in red with patterned cloth inserts, and the upholstery extends to the headliner and door panels. Dark flooring is also fitted, and an aftermarket AM/FM cassette stereo is wired to speakers on the parcel shelf.
The 15″ steering wheel frames a 110-mph speedometer below gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows approximately 74k miles, around 3k of which have been added by the seller.
The 235ci inline-six is topped by a single carburetor with an oil-bath air cleaner. The fuel tank, fuel filter, battery, and exhaust system were replaced during current ownership.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a column-shifted three-speed manual transmission and a narrowed axle. A leak from the transmission output shaft seal is noted in the seller’s video shown below.
